CITY OF VICTORIA

The objective of this project was to rebrand the city of Victoria with a contemporary yet historical image.

To do this, I chose to create a logo that focuses on the historical aspect of the brief. I incorporating the symbolism of Victoria’s crown and a scrawling decorative script font to reflect the city’s heritage. To reflect the contemporary aspect of the brief, I chose to use colour focused, modern-day photography to capture the current appeal of the city. Together, with a strong colour, these assets work to fulfil the need to reflect history but maintain current trends in the city’s image.

The assets provided here include a bus shelter advertisement, a website landing page, a travel guide, and a t-shirt design.
